Brad Pitt - Maturity and Fatherhood at its best

Brad Pitt with Zahara in Tokyo
There was a story on Brad Pitt earlier today and I wanted to make a comment on it.
I know some of you may be saying "oh my gosh, here we go... another woman commenting about Brad Pitt". Well, I just want to say that it's not really like that at all.
I'm not about to comment on his looks, but merely on his maturity, humbleness, and act of kindness. I believe all those qualities and traits has always been in him. And since he's been with Angelina Jolie, his publicities has been more about their kids and the welfare of others.
I love their ideas and willingness to go forth with purely helping people and giving back to the world. And if I had all the money in the world, I too would travel the globe and do the same thing. But for now, I do what I can and help as much as God will allow me. I'm not rich, but my heart is pure and always pray for the protection of all children in the world and to heal the hearts of all people.
I love the fact that both Angelina and Brad use their popularity for others rather than for themselves. And when they promote or stand behind their beliefs, they do not just talk, but they "walk their talk". When they are saying "help the people of this country", they literally go to that country and not only help, but they actually adopt a child from the country to show that they really care. Some people say "please help, or donate here", but they are sometimes just playing the role of a spokesperson. Which is a big difference when it comes to Angelina and Brad.
Brad Pitt mentioned he loves being a father. That is an amazing thing to hear. We're also not just hearing, but actually seeing it. When Brad started his relationship with Angelina, he knew that she had children, and for a 40-year old who never had a child, that's pretty darn good. Some are so afraid of taking the role of simply being a "responsible" adult, and that is why I love the guy even more. I know things may not be as perfect as what we see, but I don't see Brad nor Angelina to say things just for publicity reasons.
Here at Ranch Cardoso, we strive to do the same thing. We are not just about bullfighting, but also the welfare of others. If I can help everyone, I would in a heart beat. If I can adopt all of the children in the world and put them in an island where they are protected from the evil doers, I would do it tomorrow. I don't have the funds yet, but it's not to say that I'm not working for it. It's always been one of my goals to help children, especially those that are in Foster care.
So, if Brad and Angelina ever read this blog of mine, I just want to say "You guys rock!". Angelina, you have always been an inspiration, and I commend you for standing up and doing what you do and not caring if it goes against the world.
In conclusion, things always happen for a reason and God always has his hands in it. It's not to say that we were foolish in our first choices, but it's a matter of us not allowing God to handle our business for us. So, rather than believing in just yourself, remember that there is a higher power greater than ourselves and we must learn to just "let go and let God".
God does have ways to show us the true beauty within ourselves.

NEW YORK -
Brad Pitt says being a father has changed his priorities. "Man, I got kids now," the 42-year-old actor said in an interview that aired Monday on NBC's "Today" show. "It completely changes your perspective. And certainly takes the focus off yourself, which I'm really grateful for."

Pitt is working with Global Green USA, a national environmental organization, on a competition to choose ecologically sound designs for rebuilding neighborhoods in post-Katrina New Orleans. Last week, he got his first up-close look at the devastation that remains almost a year later.
"I've had my day," Pitt said. "I made some films and I've really had a very fortunate life. And it's time for me to share that a bit."
Pitt and his partner,
Angelina Jolie, have three children, 6-week-old Shiloh, 18-month-old Zahara and 4-year-old Maddox. Jolie, 31, has traveled the globe as a U.N. goodwill ambassador.
"I'm so tired of thinking about myself. I'm kinda sick of myself," said Pitt, who was nominated for an Oscar for his role in 1995's "Twelve Monkeys." His screen credits also include "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" with Jolie, "Legends of the Fall" and the upcoming "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford."
He said being a parent is "a true joy."
"Best thing I ever did," he said. "You know, you can write a book, you can make a movie, you can draw, paint a painting, but having kids is really the most extraordinary thing I've ever taken on."
"And, man, if I can get a burp out of that (baby), that little thing," said Pitt, referring to daughter Shiloh, "I'll feel such a sense of accomplishment."
