WE MUST STOP PUBLICIZING PETA'S LEFTIST ACTIVITIES

The editor of "Bullfight World" has issued an appeal to all taurine outlets, including web sites, communications among aficionados, and the media, to stop publicizing the anti-taurine activities of People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and similar left-leaning organizations, and especially support of a non-binding international resolution in opposition to bullfighting.

"Such communications, reviews, and publicity and especially this so-called, non-binding international anti-taurine resolution merely embolden the enemy
and inspire an escalation of demonstrators who distribute anti-bullfight propaganda at bullrings, art museums, the media, advertisers, and meetings of peña taurinas," said Jaime Alatuya, Bullfight World editor.

"The result of such anti-taurine activities can be seen in many taurine combat zones, including the border dispute between Barcelona and the rest of the Iberian Peninsula, especially along the Left Bank of the Guadalquivir, and gives the world the impression that aficionados are losing the war between pro- and anti-bullfight factions," said Alatuya. In addition, "they promote the spread of leftist taurine philosophies among countries that have always been under democratic control, allowing bullfights to be held, without intervention by left-leaning terrorists," said Alatuya.

In addition, Alatuya reinforced his plan to escalate the number of bullrings and bullfighters, throughout the world, including traditionally non-taurine venues, such as China, Japan, and the United States.

"Only a massive show of force will convince our enemies that their campaigns of anti-taurine terror are falling on deaf ears. For this, we need more toreros, more plazas de toros, more toros bravos, and more aficionados!" he proclaimed. "It is preferable to engage our enemies on
their own soil, rather than in our own pro-taurine countries," he added.

It is for the above reasons that Alatuya urged the media and web sites to not publish this press release, for such might embolden the enemy.
