On Monday, July 16, 2007, Ganadero Manuel Sousa, Jr. hosted a bloodless bullfight in Gustine, California for Gustine's Holy Ghost Festa.

6 bulls were provided by Manuel Sousa, Jr. and all were very good! Manuel's bulls are so strong, that several of them took over the show, namely Bull #4 where he decided to have a field day with two of the Bragas (bandarilheiros ...a Matador's helpers) and two forcados from the group Aposento de Turlock Forcados. Bull #2 decided that Matador Jose Ignacio Ramos needed a way to keep cool by tearing a hole in the seat of his pants. It's a good thing that's all he tore open... OUCH! Then there is Bull #6 who Matador Jose Luis Goncalves was working so well with and just after "the kill", the bull decided to give him a surprise! Luckily it was not as bad as what bull #2 did. But you must definitely check out bull #3... Jose Luis Goncalves did an excellent job and the bull was near perfect... he was almost like his pet... very attentive.
