A Festa Brava conheceu mais uma estrela, por sinal a mais brilhante de toda noite, na arena de Melides no passado dia 3 de Agosto. O cavalo “Dóllar” de Luís Rouxinol afirmou-se nesta corrida na costa alentejana, com um comportamento a cima da média, pela maneira como bregou, como pisou os terrenos do toiro e como se recriou na parte final das sortes, permitindo ainda ao cavaleiro de Pegões rematar a lide, ao quarto da noite, com o habitual par de bandarilhas. Além do “Mustang”, que não foi utilizado nesta noite, a quadra de Rouxinol ganhou mais uma estrela, a possibilitar assim ao ginete um variado leque de opções e de grande qualidade para os inúmeros compromissos que se avizinham. Diante do seu primeiro, Rouxinol teve uma lide com pouca ligação dadas as sistemáticas quedas do oponente que levaram a uma quebra do ritmo de lide. Mas ainda assim, empregou-se para cumprir a sua respectiva função e deixar ferros a gosto.

Francisco Cortes andou ao seu estilo, em lides fáceis e movimentadas, sobressaindo na primeira, numa actuação em crescendo, a finalizar com um ferro de palmo. Ao segundo, cumpriu a ferragem mas não chegou a romper para o êxito, andando distante com as bancadas apesar das boas condições dos seus hastados.

A jovem cavaleira Ana Rita teve sérias dificuldades diante dos seus dois toiros, os mais complicados da noite, ao que a cavaleira apesar de demonstrar algumas fragilidades, demonstrou-se desembaraçada e valente pela maneira como abordou os adversários. Mais dificuldades sentiram os Amadores de Alenquer, sendo caras Carlos Miguel e Dinis Carvalho à segunda e Pedro Coelho à quinta tentativa.
