Pablo Hermoso de Mendoza and a bull named Pajarito @ Plaza Mexico

Bullfighting

Pablo Hermoso de Mendoza is one of my favorite Rejoneos (Horsemen bullfighter). When I first saw him in Mexico, I was in love. His eyes, charming, charismatic ways.... ooh what a man!. And what beautiful horses too!! Unfortunately for me, he's married and have kids.... so I told him the deal is off (ha ha ha... just kidding).

Recently, Pablo had a bullfight in Plaza Mexico which involved a bull climbing into the stands injuring some spectators. If you look at any of the videos and news spots, it seems that some of the people were almost ecstatic to have a bull visit them in their seat. And then there were those just hanging around to see what would happen next and then the typical people who think that they're going to be the hero in this scene. The people were definitely freightened, but it also looked like there was a guy trying to pet the bull too. I sympathize for both the people and Pajarito.

Unfortunately, the bull met his destiny without a duel. As for Pablo, he gets a tail on his first bull. Second bull ... well you know what happened to the 2nd bull. Horses tumbled 3 times, another bull jumps the barrera twice. A wild bullfight!

Yeah, I kinda wish I was there to see it and at the same time get the bragging rights to say that I was there and saw the whole thing. Well, pinch me back to reality here and we'll leave the glorifying for those who were actually there.

I found some sites that show pictures of the short-lived story of a bull named Pajarito, along with amazing photos of Pablo taken by a photographer named Paul Gregory.

Attached is a news video clip in Spanish.... Pajarito No need for translation here, your eyes will tell you the story. Amazing footage. The minute they opened the gates, the bull ran in and went towards the stand as if it was planned. Usually the bull does run in pretty fast and checks out the scenery. But not this guy they call Pajarito. He charged in with command and a purpose. It's like someone threw a frisbee and he flew to get it. WoW, WoW, WoW!!

I'll add more links or info as soon as I get them.

For now, ciao! Obrigado!
